We sang a song by Dolly Parton it was called Little Andy.My teacher was nearly crying as it was a sad song, i think Mrs Wraith would have been proud of us. i am missing mrs wright a lot and all the others

I used to work at Prestonpans Infant School from October 1997 to June 1998. I taught Primary three and really loved working at the school- lots of lovely children and staff. I am now Depute Head at Rosemount which is in Montrose in Angus which is also a lovely school. One of my jobs for this year is to get our school website up and working so I have been looking at lots of school sites. Yours is great- well done. I hope ours is as good when it is completed.

In primary 4 we get maths and writing sets. If u are in a diffrent maths set than your teachers u go to another class you go there.there is a highest a middle and the lowest.i am in the highest of both of them.

This website is great i enjoy looking at it its fun when i see my topic pictures.

When I firs attended the school (1953) it was called Prestonpans Primary and we stayed there for 7 years before going to PL near the railway station. Now it's in Park View where I used to live. I have many fond memories of classmates and teachers, Mrs Moncur and Miss Law in particular. I also remember the 'shelters'. I have been in Australia since 1966 but still loved going back to the Pans. All the best. Joan (Rourke) Flack

I'm missing everyone at prestonpans infant school since I moved up to Primary 4. The big school is not as good. I really miss singing in the choir and helping the primary 1 children. The infant school is the bestest.

I was browsing through the "pans" web site and found this site for the primary school Seeing the picture brought back many memories of my first day in school with Miss Ayres and head teacher Miss Hogan. That was 70 years ago! I bring greetings from Canada where I have been for nearly 40 years but I still get back on occasions to the "pans".

Hello to everyone at school, I am really missing you all but I have been able to feel close to schoolife as I have been reading all your reports! I am very proud of all of you. You have all made such progress with you achievements and are now busy working on your next steps. That is the best news I could hear.
Some of you have been singing in the choir and did really well. Others have been busy entertaining the elderly in our community with parts of their minibeast topic and you will all be busy getting ready for Sports day! Lets hope the weather improves.

Hello Sarah! I'm delighted to hear that you still love learning. I remember some of your learning experiences from the Infant School. You made a moving seagull that flapped its wings, a finger puppet mouse, we wrote news reports about a street that we invented and our class assembly in Primary 2 was about 'love'. I still have a photo of you practising skipping in the field and a newspaper photo of you with the class, showing off the party hats that you made! Do you remember making a mud house? You wrote, "I worked on a mud house and I got my hands dirty when we put on the mud. I liked the mud", for a book about houses. I have a photo of you beside your model. We don't put photos of children on our website but I can send them to you if you write to me at the school with your address. All the very best to you Sarah and good luck with your course.

Dear Boys and Girls. I am glad to say I am safely back home after my foot operation and beginning to learn how to get about on crutches! Hello Shaun, Thank you for your message. Have a look in the "Our Busy School" bit at the side. There are two places with games. One is at the bottom called "Games Galore!" and the other is in the "Parents Pages" part where there are games like Noddy and Milkshake. I hope you find them okay and have good fun playing them. Nativity play was excellent great to hear the childrens voices ?? could do with using microphones in school assembly as it can sometimes be difficult to hear the children and this is such a shame as they put alot of work into what the have to say.

Could you include a link to the Yellow Moon website along with the code to be used to raise funds for the school please?
